From a pile of parts and tubing, to complete rig. It took over 2 years and we wondered if it would ever leave the garage. Design changes and the devilish details kept pushing this rig's finish time further and further back. Full tube chassis, built 454,TH400, STAK, Rockwells, 44's, etc. Rear steer to come later, stay tuned!


	Chassis built from scratch, mostly 1.75x.120 DOM, some .188 where necessary. Built to facilitate 3 adults. Utilizes a Jeep YJ hood, grill and cowl.


	Parts gathering began by marking off the bit items first. 44" boggers, STAK Monster 3 speed, 18" Fox airshocks, John Carr built TH400, etc etc etc.


	Rockwell teardown and rebuild, including Detroit Lockers, all new bearings and seals, and shaved bottoms.


	Engine and trans mockup. Tight tolerances in these areas, maybe a little too tight in some spots.


	4-link front and rear suspension. Parallel uppers and triangulated lowers. Uppers made from 2.0x.500 wall and lowers from 1.75x.375 wall. Johnny joints at every end and vertical adjustability at the frame. All numbers ran through a 4 link calculator to verify the right amounts of anti-squat, roll center, etc.


	Custom wheels built from Military Humvee shells with new rockwell pattern centers and outer rim stiffeners. Double beadlock provided by magnesium run flats


	Suspension finalized with Timbren bumps utilizing air-bump cans. Dual bearing steering column finishes the steering off. 350 pulled to make room for the 454 big block. 2 piece front drive shaft, utilizing a rubber mounted pillow block.


	Propane tanks mounts finalized. Body panels mocked up and cut. All utilize a threaded tab system for quick and easy removal for access to work. Teardown, paint and rebuild... that took some time.
